650/X-2 yami hood latch

I noticed the Kawi X2 hood latch do not adjust like yamaha B1 latches with the T bolt. Is it over kill to install Yami style hood latches on the X2 hood. Ive noticed some use 4 latches and others have used rubber straps like snowmobile hoods. I like the Yami style latch with locking knob but was wondering if this is overkill.

I use 1 stainless steel ratchet strap on each side, it works alot better then oem latch.

Can u provide image. I think of a cargo ratchet comes to mind not sure what your using

I definatly need to do that to mine. pretty tired of the latches blowing of when it slams a little hard
