Dumb idea to begin with but still, how do you screw that up? I'm guessing the driver forgot to take it out of reverse before punching it?

I attempted to a take friend out for his first ride years ago. We launched the skis out the back of longbed 4 door chevy. He forgot he was in reverse, punched it, put a huge hole in a 550sx. He backed into the water all the way to his front doors. The tool box in the bed of his truck filed with salt water too. Very lucky there was no one standing behind the truck because they would have been badly injured.

Needless to say we didn't go riding that day.

Some douche at the ramp last year decided to power launch his boat by blasting into the water in reverse then slamming on the brakes to launch it off the trailer. Unfortunately it launched lower unit first into the side of my buddies brand new superjet.

i swear there are some lakes here that are so bad that you could bring a 12 pack and beach chairs and be entertained any day of the week. the other day at Dinky Dock a convertible came hauling arse down the ramp and went straight in the water!!!! it was an old amphibious car with two props in the back,,,,, hahahahhaha

I at one time had an f-350 with my ski just parked in the bed. I never had an issue like that. Then again, that was also when i went to Oceanside Harbor with probably one of the steepest ramps i have ever seen
