Yet another jetting thread!! (Need some basic input for 2 different configurations).

Hello!

My new to me superjet (2000 roundnose) is a mess. Well, it WAS a mess, I'm totally fixing it!
The engine ran while out of the water but never got the chance to ride it yet.
I opened up the carbs to install new kits to realise that one of the main jet is a 120 and the other is a 130. Both low speed jets are 70.

My SJ manual and most of the online searches I made says that both main jets should be 130 and low speed 70. For some reason, they put a smaller jet in one of the carbs.
The engine going in is completly rebuilt, stock specs with lightened flywheel and MSD, but will have a milled head for a little more compression, should be about 170 Psi.

Here comes the question no.1: Would a milled head require re-jetting (bigger jets) ? Or I should be fine with 130/70 jets?

I've sourced a used Factory B-pipe (with mod chamber), which I am going to be installing later, maybe mid-season or next season (I wanna feel the ski with stock exhaust first, then swap B-pipe later after repainting it).

Here comes question no.2: What jetting should I expect to need with the factory pipe (mod chamber). I've looked trough the factory pipe website and I get 2 contradicting answers:
For the limited pipe, they advise 135 high / 70 low (which I read elsewhere too but didn't seem like a 100% reliable source), and for the mod pipe, they advise 145/120, which is WAYY far from original jets and according to all my searches, limited and mod pipes are somewhat similar for a stock engine. Those specs are supposedy for stock engines with A/M flame arrestors (I got stock).

I just wanted to know opinions before ordering everything I'll need

thanks a lot!

130s are what they come with . factory pipe says put in 135s and leave the pilots at 70.
on a few occasions I had to put 75 -85 pilots in there to lose the low speed bog and get the screws turned back in.
I don't know why I had to put bigger pilots and I done care why. I just tuned out the current problem and ran it.
senor/muffler mark reverse jets the stock 38s with great success.
I don't know what his specs are and I rarely run 38s so I don't currently care or have need to know.
maybe in the future when I throw some junk together to sell.

Allright thanks a lot guys!

I will be ordering 130 and 135 for now! Factory pipe never told what the specs were for (38 or 44mm), but I guess their mod pipes are mostly used by people running ported engines with 44mm so they didn't bother to say.

have a nice day
