what do you mean "still????" rippin it up!

in actuality..this "sport" has WAY more old guys like us as compared to young guys like you!

its pretty sad to go to the beach and get out rolled and out flipped by guys who are FIFTY!!!!!!!! :haha:

Dude chill out. You getting defensive over a compliment. :261: You missed the purpose of this thread completely. OF COURSE there are more guys over 25 than there are under and we all know that there are only a couple people under 25 that can even remotely keep up with some of the best.

What I think sxi4evr is getting at is... He wants to recognize those guys with virtually no budget, very little ride time, and a true passion for the sport. Then he wanted to see what these guys could do. Take sxi4evr...he cuts grass for gas money and tows his ski with a lawnmower! Of course someone with a $20k ski is going to be better than some kid who saved up for a year to buy a $600 kawi 550.

19 for 2 more months. First full summer on on my fx1. If im on my ski im having fun, freeride, freestyle, racing bouys and trail rides. Huge stabs are my favorite. 2 roll/2 flip attempts over with. Trying to land them both before the end of the summer.

Think it's awesome you guys are spending your cash on gas for a ski.. Worse stuff a 17yr old could be getting into with cash and free time.. Think i've crossed the line into the fart section.. 27.. watch out it'll sneak up on ya..

Cheers and keep rolling...! skis that is..

This is a good thread. Im 27 and been shreddin for about 10 years. My big trick is the classic roll but i can stab off anything including flat water and am close to rolling on flat with my SXR. I build my own custom sh*t and been wrenching bout 10 years solid. So im not quite on kiddie status but if any of you gus got a lock on a handle pole that will bolt up to my SXR hook it up and i'll hook you up with some go fast goodies!

im 22 been riding for 5 years. flatwater back flips and flairs are my best trick.

A guy I ride with is almost 40 and he is doing flairs and flatwater backys!!!

I'm 18, I have virtually negative money from all of my ridiculously expensive hobbies, my life is going way too fast, my ski looks like it belongs to a homeless person as it is currently sporting some sweet krylon paint, approximately half a roll of duct tape, and zip ties of various sizes and colors...

And I wouldn't have it any other way!

I stood up at age 9 started riding the surf age 14 and just been riding seriously for the last 3 years. From my stock 550 to the 550 SX-F to my Superjet its all been a blast and I still get the same rush every time I hit the surf. Its always something new and dynamic and never gets old.

I average less than 400 in my checking and make 250-350 a week whether or not half of that is deducted from my check for replacement broken parts or something else that goes dud. Its part of being a rider, I accept that and take each day and each surf day by day and appreciate everyone who helps me keep riding and those who enjoy it with me.

Im a good roller but need to finish my flips and develop a good core surf riding background at the same time.

Keep it up all you fellow young guns we are the future names of this sport and have a small sport to carry but one that is full of good respectable people and need to carry those morals and values along just as they are. Hold your heads up high and don't let yourself or any smoozers tell you that you cant do something you have your mind set to.

My name is Mark Gomez and I love to surf.
