Let's hear everyone's opinion of the perfect X2. We all like different mods, here's a place to post every mod you have that you like or every mod your don't have that you wish you did. Feel free to throw in those crazy mods you never think you'd be able to have for the sake of an interesting read. Use the same items someone else did if you wish you had them too. This is how you like (or would like) your X2.

I'll start out...

Haves... (on my '87)
bottom/nose mod
Tubbies/sponsons
electric bilges (but keeping stock siphon bilge)
Steering mod (UMI, Accu-steer or modified stock)
25mm padding
In a perfect world...
Solid fix-steer hood (like the new X2 or SJ conversion hood)
rear exhaust
45 degree wider rails (like some aftermarket hulls)
no inside ribs/reenforced
direct steer (like the new X2 or SJ conversion hood)
Trim (preferably on a lever but at least smaller than stock)
better air intake than stock
Yamaha motor (obviously mods for more power)
Yamaha Pump
Shaved hood and better looking fuel door

750 Small pin bored 1 over. Stock crank
46 SBN carb with pro k filter
umi finger throttle
hot products bars
west coast mani
blaster mod pipe
west coast head
33cc domes
internal fuel fill
stupid stuff like matching fuel lines and water lines.
MSD TL electronics zip ties everywhere.
Hell, I even bleached the inside of the hull.
fully wrapped in turf etc.
candy apple red paint
and a partridge in a pear tree.

And if I had it to do all over again.. I would have just bought my green x2 instead of doing all the work! For sale btw $1500.00 750 small pin, coffman exhaust, 46 bn, umi steer etc. The Go Boat! pics are in my profile pics.

foot straps cut back hull rockerd nose a better place to mount the electronics ( iv had to fix mine 3 times ) a little more room to work on things inside the hull ahaha

I wish that I wouldn't have put $4000 into a $250 hull...
