wind was only offshore on sunday..friday and saturday the surf was ********..blowing about 30knots onshore...real ugly..not even fun to ride in..

So the video is from Sunday...right?!

We get it like that here sometimes when it is very blown-out then as soon as the wind turns around...its like little baby jesus ground swell rollers :notworthy:

Appears to be from late in the day SUnday judging by the position of the sun and the degree of wind. It was much more calm earlier in the day. That rider was great, but if you liked that, you'll LOVE the films of the actual competition. INSANE.

Looks like the final heat with Pierre and Taylor. Pierre was doing backeys on the inside sets and Taylor had some nice floaters.
