With UTEP next, I'm sure the roll will continue a little longer at least!

Not really but since I have been before I would be willing to bring a sitdown and carry some gas.

I just looked for other launch ramps and Bayshore Park looks about the same distance from the ship channel as The Launch ramp in Shore Acres but I dont know anything about Shore Acres thats Lukes territory.

I also found one I did not know about in San Leon Called April Fool's Point. Not sure if it is still open since Ike but I am going to cruise by and check it out tommorrow looks like its closer to the dike but not really any closer to the ship channel.

Any of the launches is going to be a 15 min ride out to the markers.

I am tied up saturday morning but could go Sunday.
