Surfriding Zack Bright On A BOB from now to Brazil

Well I had a BOB but I ain't no pro so I guess I don't count. If you want a pros opinion, Ross Champion had a rather lengthy and informative review of the hull. My post was made thinking you had overlooked what ZB had stated. Didn't really warrant your response IMO. Back on topic, Zack good luck in Brazil on the BOB. Hope you do well.

Well I guess it's not worth reading then since the new breed are so completely different in design? Strakes completely different, length total change, width way different, completely different bottom deck design like no other ski before it? They are close enough that Ross's opinion is still relevant and might be of value. Enough of the BOB defense already. Good luck Zack, hope you win on the BOB and show what it can do in the surf with a talented rider aboard.

Gen 1 ride and Gen 2 ride are really nothing alike.

Have you flipped them over and grabbed a scale and tape measure? I have. Maybe Ski Clinic will chime in with exact measurements since I just have the ruff remembrance in my head( same except for pump location). I also believe that the one Ross had was a 1.5. I believe Ross's review is still relevant and full of good info for any reader. Seems I stand alone. Enough of the derail, no other hull brings stuff like this out on the X,unreal.

I've had nothing ill to say about a BOB in this thread at all. You are the horse beater around here. I hope Zack does well on the BOB as I've stated many times. I've chimed in on BOB threads what 10 times maybe with what I personally experienced and I don't count but you do? You? Have you flipped them over? C'mon man you like it I love it. What do I know, I ride a second hand Trinity. Last time, Zack make the US proud on the BOB and be safe.

the ski that ross rode was custom made with the motor moved forward and was modified here and there and was not built how bob's were designed. the gen 2 are built differently to the one that he had. i rode both ross's and a gen 2 and night and day difference. zack is really killing it on the bob and is going to do very well in brazil. the only thing i noticed about zack riding a bob is that it was not made for the ZB test of getting thrashed in the surf. GOOD LUCK MAN.

Yes I've ridden both my 1.5 and a 2. Setups were different in that I had a 8mm DASA 865 and the 2 had a ported 720. Felt very similar to me with my limited skills, but you know what my opinion is worth. I also read the tale of the tape. My opinion is that if the guy that wanted an in depth report from a "pro" Ross's report is good reading.

If you have skill, tallent and balls, it doesn't matter what you ride.

Zack, you are a sick rider... not matter what hull you are on. Looking good bro... hope ya kill it in Brazil brotha!!

In all reality... Regardless of your skill ... Ability ..financial wherewithal .. Or Social Statius on this forum ... It shouldn't matter what you ride as long as your out there tearing it up... There just seams to be a lot of elitist attitudes floating around... Sport is way too small to just not be happy that another person wants to be a part of it... Hull brand be damned..
