well i figured id update this thread a bit. so far i havnt broke anything and havnt changed anything... hahaha! its too good! i have really dialed in my ridding on the ski tho. this ski really loves to have your back leg be the dominate/ power leg where the fr-2 really liked the opposite. feels way more like a surf board. so fun!

i wish california didnt suck when it comes to waves right now.... i really want to try the longer hull plate in some bigger surf but surf has been so small there no reason too...

i guess i should post the vid of Ross and I discussing the Light-Weight hull in Oregon. its a good vid and very informative.

i also got some weight numbers from norbert on the skis.

275.5 Pounds with 701 bpipe 5 gallon tank for the Carbon Fiber Hull Ready to ride

297.6 Pounds with 701 b pipe 5 gallon tank for the Fiberglass Hull Ready to ride

here a pic of the Rasta-Monsta chillin on the beach.

well hello there friends. updates updates.

I would like to announce my sponsorship with DASA Racing. Picking up my SS 850 PV motor this week. I am really, really excited to get a little more HP in my ski to let me push my riding and amplitude to the next level. Oh yea.... the motor matches the ski....... No. Big. Deal..........haha! YEA!

i have only owned a limited non ported 701 and for the most part they have ran decent... i cant wait to have a solid motor and performance under the hood.

the way progression has gone with TC doing flip re-entrys, you need more power than a 701 but, my motor will be set up slightly mellow for the surf.

heres a teaser/mock up pic till i get my hands on it!

Cheers guys I can not wait to get this in my boat. I'm waiting on the carbs, these are brand new carbs from dasa that are NOT like the old riva carbs. Kyle said the carbs should be a few more days but assured me that if I feels it will take longer, to go with a diffrent set.

What chamber are you guys running, limited or mod? I have both, just wondering what everyone seems to be going with...
