Zeeltroinc in a 550?

Tell me if I’m crazy or not? This is what I’m thinkinking, use a PDCIS-02T for a Yamaha 760 in a 550sx reed and retain the charging capabilities. I want to try and keep it looking as stock as possible. Start by machining pickup up coil bumps into a stock flywheel (plus the stock flywheel gets lightened at the same time). Mount the 760 pickup coil in the front cover, probably sit somewhere between the flywheel and starter (will take a little welding and machining). Mount the Zeel electronics in the stock electronics box (probably have to make a spacer to make the stock box bigger). Use the 760 coil assembly and somehow mount that in the stock Ebox. Retain the stock charging coil and voltage regulator to supply power to the Zeeltronics. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

Your onto it. but first of all use the stock 760 box you get a nice box that gives you more room in the ski
use the threaded pickup and mount it in the front cover
Using the three bolts to pull the flywheel plate off make a unit which bolts to that and give your pick up lumps.

Wax, I like the way you think. So I did a little research and I'm having a tough time finding one of threaded pickups that is 450 ohms. I was just trying to match the resistance of the stock 760 pickup to make sure it would work with the PDCIS-02T. Do you know if it has to be 450 ohms?
