Anyone have any ideas
Oops wasn’t finished posting yet . My Zeeltronic quit on me yesterday first ride in a while. Started sputtering losing power so I limped back to shore had a backfire then it died. No start. Went home pulled the motor and tore it apart everything looked good except a broken spark plug terminal so I replaced it reassembled everything and now I have No spark. Can’t think of anyway to troubleshoot it other than replacing the brain but not sure if I want to spend the money Lol. I pulled the cylinder and the flywheel cover took Ebox apart and it all looks good. wtf any ideas ? put the old enhancer ,62t flywheel back in I guess.

I ran out and installed a new battery on the ski and cranked it over and I still have zero spark. Thanks that was a good tip wish it would have worked. By the way how much would a new brain be for a 760 zeel.?

Do you have a laptop and cable you can connect to your zeel? You can check a few things to make sure it's not something silly causing your issue. Did you open your ebox? You can do a spark test to verify your coil is working or that your zeel is bad then you can do a monitor test to verify you're getting the signal from the pickup before condemning your zeel.

No I don’t have a cable to test the zeel but eventually I will. I discovered a broken spark plug at the boot after it quit running completely it ran on one cylinder for awhile trying to get back to my truck,it had no spark. I tore it apart checked everything out replaced the coil and still no ⚡️ spark. I’m putting 62t electrics back in and going to run that for awhile.

I've had 2 fail on me, both times water got in the ebox and it was usually after a surf weekend Haha. The 1st one I had the extension cable attached and water got in and broke one of the terminals. It then intermittently worked. The 2nd one I ran the rubber plug. It looked like on both zeels that water got in on the sides between the seal and the case. All of mine are the a02t zeels. I think the 02t had a different case that was more water proof. That's just my personal observation after having 2 fail due to water intrusion. Another friend has the 02t and has had it for 2 years with no issues.

I believe mine would still be running if it wasn’t for the spark plug end breaking off and it just kept trying to jump the gap and I kept the motor running. Hard telling lol. It had worked great for about 2 years until then.

Seems like a lot of Spark Plugs are breaking lately...

Just had a Friend break 2 brand new NGK Spark Plugs. Each Spark Plug only lasted one Moto.

The entire Porcelain Insulator came loose. You could jiggle it up and down.

Supply Chain issue? Quality Control issue?
What curve. I have been sent some crazy curves recently that engine builders have sold to people and they would destroy spark plugs. When you deto it doesn't always blow the engine some times it loosens the plug and or cracks the porcelain. This is when the timing is high enough to cause deto but no enough to blow your engine

We get asked all the time about zeeltronic curves, So we put them up on the website. Just cut and paste the link and it will download it to your pc.
This is the wax v3 curve which makes great power and excellent throttle response.
Feel free to use them for your personal use

Make sure your spinning at least 200 rpm, otherwise it won't spark. I ran into that on my jstl total loss.

You can hook your laptop up to see what rpm your spinning

When you had it what RPM were you seeing and what was your set up on eng Cc, compression and battery size ?….

I was seeing low cranking rpm in winter on big cc engine, is why i ask

It was on my old 1200. I ended up putting one spark plug in the rear spark plug hole in the head. It helped speed up the crank then I got spark. Not sure why that helped though?
