Zxi 900 oil block off questions?

When rebuilding the engine. I added an oil block off plate. The bearings on it where shot. Do I still need to replace them? Are the cooling lines still needed on the stator cover? And are the oil fittings on the carbs supposed to be blocked off?

remove the baring for the oil pump no longer needed, u wont need any of the cooling lines for the stator either...redirect the the line coming from the nopttom in the middle of the pipe unless u wish to dry the pipe out

bottom pipe where the water main comes in has a T , take the smaler line and direct it into the middle outlet, top goes overboard no changes there

Would this be the middle outlet

Water cooling lines are for the stator cover, to cool the stator. They really have nothing to do with the oil injection. If you are running the 900 in a sit down hull, personally I would leave them be, and hook them up.

We do eliminate them when doing 1100 engines in a SXR hull for instance, as the engine is not working as hard, and we typically are doing dual cooling, etc so eng temps are lower.

images shows middle, further down where the water comes in 1/2 inch line there is a T on the manifold take it from there and route that into the middle, unless u want to dry out the pipe...

the cooling for stator baring is just an extra loop
