IMO 38's will work fine with a 760. I have rode a couple ski's with fancy taper bored 44's and stock 38's on 771cc or smaller and the 38's usually have a smoother power curve and are a lot easier on the gas.

Art gomez and wamilton also suggested the same, i will most likely go with the 38s and send them to Art to work his magic.

How big of a motor can the 38s support if i go with a bigger motor in the next year or two?
771?

image.jpg Finished refoaming the tray with polystyrene, added some two part foam to lock it all together and fill in behind the bob holds.

Riveted the sides of the tray down, still need to glass it all in.

Got the hand pole area reinforced as well as up at the nose. Just about done with the engine compartment, i will post up a pic when i get one.
In the process of filling in the gas fill area.

X scream pole should be here today or mon maybe as well as wammer hood.

um i bought arts 850 bb and i also have his modified 38s so so far i know that the 38s will go that far

Ended up getting a set of SBN 44s, the aftermarket silver ones which are said to flow better and easier to tune opposed to the oem blacks.

Hopefully i can have Art rework them if its in the budget.

image.jpg XScream Hand Pole came in today. Looks awsome, very well made and powdercoated finish is really nice.

Crank and seals should be in thursday as well as my exhaust and Wammer Hood.

Cases are out at PHP getting ported and epoxied, can get the motor together when those come back.

Got some more work done on the hull over the weekend. Tray is glassed back in still needs two more layers or so. Looks good i love the wide tray.
The BOB holds arent too bad i just took my time getting the gunwales cut as close to the shape of the new tray as i could.

Almost done filling in gas cap area, i glassed the area the foam filled and glassed over. couple coats of thickens epoxy and sanding.
Should have it shaped pretty good when this layer dries and i can sand it.

image.jpg Had to bring the ski in the house to dry, too cold in the garage. New England Sucks.

Been taking a long time to get all of the hull work done because of a slow dry time.

Even turned the fire place on and poured her a nice glass of wine.

There is thickened epoxy over the pump and on the gunwales for the tray to bon to. Also did a thin layer on the back edge of the tray. Going to be glassing the back in were the rivets are.
