Got my OCD Solutions Coil in the mail yesterday too. I put it on but I must be having another issue. When I tested the primary & secondary coil, the resistance readings were way off so I'm sure I still needed a new coil but I'll have to dig in further to find the existing issue.

Good thing you mentioned this. I didn't realize they were different. Just tested it out for about 5mins late yesterday and it came off alot easier on the hull vs the hood. Still a pain to do but much easier. I'll probably work on it a little bit at a time until I get it back to blue.

Tried the lacquer thinner yesterday. It did take it off but took some time. Even with it coming off, the blue paint underneath is not the same. I have plans to remove everything out of the hull this winter so I can prep/paint inside and outside of the hull. I'll just deal with this paintjob...

Yes, I got the papers on it and even called Wildlife and Fisheries to make sure it was in his name. Same registration numbers are on it with the rattle can job, just a bad paint job.
