Didn't have to refoam it. The foam behind the footholds was bone dry and it was a perfect fit, no open or wasted space.

I am waiting on some Tau Ceti pro flame arrestors and the adapters for the carbs. Joe tapped the pump last night so the dual cooling set up is nearly complete.

I ended up buying a handlebar switch from blowsion. I understand everybodies points about both but I figure I'll give this one a shot and if it craaps out on me i will just order a switch for the dash.

i had this exxact same thing happen to me when I took my ebox out a few weeks ago for the MSD. Had to get it out the same way you did and then put the frozen bracket in a vise and put a lot of muscle into turning it. It bent a little bit but I got if off. i just bent it back before I was done.

The glovebox idea is pretty cool. If only there were a glovebox/front foothold combo that was completely waterproof.

So I am installing a bilge pump in the SJ and am wondering what you guys think about the different switches, either put one on the tray or handlebars? I was instantly thinking on the handlebars but my friend said he hits into it a lot when in the surf, which is mainly what I am riding in.

Cut the bottom, if u cut the top it changes the angle of the turnplate and bars. U can also get a shortened plate which would take away about another inch and keep the same angle
