I wear a burn industries side entry vest thats coast guard approved and like it. Its not as comfy as my A-10 but I trust it to keep me floating if I cant. I ride mostly with friends in a river or at busy private lake but I still dont trust that someone will stop if they see me floating face...
Unrelated but did you have your head milled? I have a 750 head in perfect shape milled by tim to run 175psi on a ported 800 I dont need anymore. I switched to a ADA this year.
I used a medium pad on a wiz wheel, took the paint off quick but added a few extra steps to polishing it. Like others said, it does spot up super quick but I just run mine over the polishing wheel whenever I have the time and it cleans off easy. It hasnt got any shirts off yet though, I should...
I did the repairs last night but I"ll post a pic anyway. I cut the damaged area out and made a "V" shape with the narrower side at the bottom of the ski to hold in the epoxy better. I used epoxy resin mixed with micro spheres to make a filler went to town. I dont think I'll bother with the...
I have a small crack in my hull between the chines near the front of the ski. Its been there three seasons now without cracking further but I decided to fix it while the motor is out. I started by grinding out all the damaged area from under the ski and cut the edges back to form a nice channel...
Everybody has their own taste. Most say the kawi turns better (better for a race ski) but the yam is easier to flick around as you would want for freestyle. I cant speak for a sx but I know my pro railed hard even stock. It was retarded with a extended plate and hull extensions, it would toss...
love my digger holds, only regret is not moving them up a little, I put them all the way at the back and wish they were a few inches closer to the dash.
yes, the 650 nozzle is bigger than a 750. I had a bored 750 nozzle and switched to a 650 and noticed a slight gain in low end. The 650 nozzle also has veins in the reduction portion, dont know if that helps anything but I like mine. It bolts right on but the location of the steering is slightly...
I was thinking the same thing about the straps or possibly some of the "lightweight" adjustable holds. either way good job on the build, makes me feel like a pansy for putting off opening the tray to refoam.
It sure dosent look pretty but I dont think thats the cause of your issue. If the pump can push out enough water to propel the ski properly then you have more than enough pressure in the reduction nozzel and stator area to produce flow in the cooling lines. If your just getting steam out the...
Get a FP limited pipe, Its worth waiting for. The dry pipes and other wet pipes like coffmann and R&D work well too but wont bring the same level of performance as the factory performance pipe
