1993 SXI Big Pin Motor. Just noticed a grinding sound in and out of water. Seems to be coming from the pump area. Inspected the pump and impeller and see no damage, or obvious looseness. I suspect the impeller shaft bearing at the pump, but wanted to get some input before a tear down. Thank you

bbtonns, Thanks for your reply. Also, great advise on the warm-up routine... The same is true for water-cooled motocross bikes. Mostly due to the rate of piston expansion VS cylinder wall during warm-up. going WOT too soon can cause a cold seizure. Thanks again, Chuck
