    Reinforcing tray?

I just got my footholds done, and wondering if it is necessary to reinforce the stock tray on an SXR before I turf over it all. I'll be riding in Lake Michigan a decent amount so there is a chance for some pretty big waves. I have some 1708 biaxial mat that I got from US Composites when I...

    Noob Handlebar Question

Very nice! Thanks for the write up! I suppose I'll use 8mm pad for the rails then, and 25mm on the tray. I also want to strengthen the tray area for my heft...so I figure I"ll glass some strips across between the holds. Which is preferred for you guys, poly or epoxy resin?

Saving the $200 on the rail caps and putting it into other areas of the...

    Noob Handlebar Question

One of the stock rails is torn in half, hence why I'm replacing them. The other has some pretty good grooves in it...looks like the past owner something sit over the rails while it was in storage during the winter (box/crate etc..) The ski only has just over 15 hrs on it and is an '04, so it...

    Noob Handlebar Question

I bought a 2004 SXR and decided to tear into it right away and change some stuff before I get out on the water. This is my first stand up (coming from an ultra 150 I've had since 2000) and am pretty excited about it. First off I purchased some Blowsion bars and ODI grips. I took all the...
