My ski has stock carbs (bored I think) I think I will go the wet pipe route. I would do everything minus the timing advance.. the only thing I would have trouble with with the pipe is carb tuning. Oh. And locating one for a decent price.

Looking for some more power out of my groupk big bore 849cc I asked Harry about a wet pipe with no response. Anyone gone to the next level of adding a wet pipe without going with the 1100? Or is that off the wall?
Open to suggestions.

Yea I have the r&d but what boggles my mind is why the picture I posted has no lip but this one I got off eBay does.

I'm an idiot.. That's actually the grate I need, the one I bought looks like that except in the back (where it meets the pump shoe) there is a tiny lip running up about 4-5"and looks like it needs to be shaved off in order to get it to fit.

Bought this off eBay a month ago and tried installing it last weekend.. There is a lip that will not allow it to mount up with my aftermarket intake grate... What gives? Is it the wrong ride plate or do I just have to shave it off???

I have a stock o ring and the skat o ring and they are almost identical. Are you having fitting issues too? Or just need an o ring?

I even tried the stock o ring in the new impeller with no luck. It's almost as if it's the wrong o ring or the impeller wasn't machines enough where it sits. I do plan on using some 3/8 tube to have some sort of dampening however. To

Got ahold of skat trak. For anyone who may have this problem in the future they told me just to toss the O ring or trim it.

The O ring doesn't seat the same way as the stock.. I'm going to call skat trak tomorrow and see if there's anything they can recommend. It almost seems like it wasn't machined enough..

Yea I thought that too. But since I took both props and slid them on without the pump there was no way it could have built up any pressure or gotten forced into a crevice and not allowed it to go in. It's for sure the damn O ring

Ok. I had the impeller off again tonight. I slid the stock impeller on the shaft and marked where it sat. Then I slid the skat trak, marked it. And there was the 1/8" I needed. When I took the O ring out of the skat impeller it went on EXACTLY as far as the stock. But as soon as I install the...
From what I am told 03' was the year they never used that fitting you have on yours. I've been looking for that damn T forever..

You are a lifesaver, thank you so much. Going to order some new water lines and another fitting and get at it this weekend. How do you go about flushing your ski out now since you've got 2 water outlets? (They also provided a garden hose connector, but I am unsure of where to install that to...
Correct assumption. There were legit no instructions for any of that.. There was a barb fitting in a plastic bag group k left that said fitting for pump..
The problem is that the ski came with a factory pipe. I removed all of that and the stock setup seems to be much different.
What's...
Ok. I am beyond lost with this new bilge and cooling system.
Where does the barb fitting at the bottom of the exhaust manifold go?? I know they added one here
. Is it now dual cooling? Stumped lol
