well i got home today and disconnected the black/white connection and still no spark so it must not be the ss switch. its cranking everytime with the start button now. i started checking the output voltages from the stator and im getting nothing. and i noticed something strange, theres these...
cliff are you sure that its not supposed to crank if the black/white wires are disconnected? i thought that if you disconnect those its still supposed to crank and its supposed to spark. when i did it, it cranked, but didnt spark.
hmm if thats true cliff then the switch is bad. cause i disconnected the black/white connector and it still cranked. i disconnected the brown/red and it didnt crank
i was tinkering around with the switch and thats acting back to normal and everytime i hit the start button it still cranks but no spark. ne way to test if the start stop switch is bad? next ill start checking out all the outputs of the stator
ok i just found something kind of odd. pulled the ebox back apart and jumped across the solenoid and it cranks again. the start button makes it crank to. but there is no spark. i realized the ski still cranks with no lanyard. it never used to crank without the lanyard attached. what does that mean
i took apart the start stop switch and it all looks good, took the connections apart and cleaned them out as well. im thinking its the solenoid but i dont see how that would of caused the ski to shut off on me in the first place. the only other thing is i know my battery is gettin old but i...
