You mean... When you spin it with your hand ??? Is it a new impeller ? It is possible a new impeller won't turn in it's housing. Start the engine. The impeller will machine it's way by itself.
I'm changing my steering cable right now... I tried everything and finally decided to remove the engine, the waterbox and slide de gaz tank away... It is easier to make room in that hull. That's not a big job but it is long to make it.
Ok here's the story.
I met a young man last week with a 1999 SXIPro, This is his first JetSki ever. I tryed it and found a mysterious problem: It has a good low end power but doesn't have any top RPM. The more throttle you give the less RPM you have !!!! I had to drive it at 3/4 wide to pull...
Me too...
My 1999 750 has been beat for the last 10 years... And the same thing happened last summer. I got the handle pole out of the hull last week. I work at the Sea-Doo factory, so i'll try the glue that we use to assemble the hull and deck as soon as the production will start next...
The SX: From 1992 through 1995 single carb, non agressive hull, no longer ride plate, big rider protection on the handlepole.
The SXI: From 1995 through 1997 twin carb
The SXI Pro: From 1998 through 2002, new hull more agressive, longer ride plate,...
The SXR: From 2003 through 2011.
Ho god... I do JetSki for 19 years and I never heard a story like that. You should have a gas leak somewhere and you fired it up. Next time start it with the hood off...
On my personnal experience, you'll find 2 psi on each 0.001" so if you want 20psi, go for 0.010".... This is what I done to my ski, 180psi is the results
My '99 sxipro just died. I'm doin' the whole engine. I' interrested about buying a new 800SXR since it may be the last model year available (2 strokes ban). Does anybody can talk about the main difference between the 750 and the 800. I mean, the driving style, the weight feeling on the water...
- Check if you have energy at the plugs. All you have to do is remove the 2 plugs, then put the electric cap on it, then ground the plug somewhere on your engine and fire up. Check for sparks when you crank it. (Try this in a dark area)
- Do you have choke or primer knob ? Does this ski have...
I'll be at the world finals next october. Does anybody can give me some hint about "What to see around". I've never been to Havasu and I come from Canada.
First of all...
Why don't you begin to download the real FP installation instruction.
www.factorypipe.com Clic on Installation.
For your hood, remove the 2 tubes and cut off the rear air chamber.
I have a FP on mine since 2001. No problem with this pipe, very reliable. And get ready to have...
The 750 first appear in 1992 as the sx model: Single carb,
The 750 sxi in 1995 has dual carbs.
In 1998, the SXI PRO made a big change: Kawasaki changed the hull design making it more agressive: They shaved the front bottom hull and it makes it less bumping in the waves (Porpoise). So Kawasaki...
Usually a "race hood" let more air goes inside, so the water too. With stock hood, I have water in the engine compartment too but not as much as you. My engine never stops. You should protect your engine from water because you don't want to bend a connecting rod since water doesn't compress like...
After more than 18 years experience in stand-up PWC, Here's more information about Kawasaki 750.

In 1995 became the Sxi with 2 carbs.
In 1998 the Sxi pro came out with more power, and a new and more agressive hull and smaller gas tank.
The SXR got out in...
Every part are in good shape. I mean, O'rings, Bearings, Shaft... Everything ! That's why I ask if I can (Or have to) do something or let it go that way !
I'm doing an overall maintenance on my '99 SxiPro. I removed the pump housing to check bearings and impeller. When I removed the cone it was filled with water... Also when I removed the impeller shaft, the pump housing was also filled with water... Under pressure.
There where no trace of rust...
