This was off of a setup wake
Thanks for all the pics Kaylee! It definitely helps to see it.
I'll give it another go with pulling bars to chest. Thanks for all your feedback
So I've been working on my flat water flips but can't seem to get enough rotation to finish the flip. I have a BOB Gen 2, Dasa 850 PV, B-pipe, XFT trim, 144 mag pump.
I attached some still frame photos for critiquing. Let me know what you think!
Thanks,
I have a Bob Gen 2, Dasa 850 PV, B pipe, MSD enhancer, 144 mag pump with XFT trim. What prop / pitch should I run on this ski for best hook up?
Ive seen the hooker seems to be a common choice but want to get peoples opinions before forking out more cash.
Thanks
So far it seems as if the hooker 10/16 is a good starting point. First thing first though..... I should really pull the prop now and see what's actually in there.
Keep it coming though. It's nice to hear everyone's opinions of what works and what doesn't.
Long story short I am looking for opinions on what prop I should be running. I ride only flat water and no surf. My current setup is as follows:
BOB Gen 2
Dasa SS 850 powervalve
Dual 48 mm Riva powerbombs
VF2 reeds
B Pipe
Stock ignition with MSD enhancer
12 vein 144 mm Mag pump
XFT trim

So I ended up going through the Carbs again. Didn't find anything plugged and all jets / ports were clear. Diaphragms all looked good and nothing stood out to me. When I put the Carbs back on, I primed the fuel lines and carbs by blowing into the gas tank through the return line. Once fuel had...
I did move the needles by hand and made sure that they were free of any sticking. I even pulled the plate off of the back of the carb, held the needle open and cranked the engine to see if the fuel would come through with no success.....
So here is my issue that I am just looking for some advice:
I had a ported 701 that I was running with dual 48mm Riva Powerbomb carbs. I last ran the engine last season and fogged it over the off season. I recently upgraded to a ported DASA 850 (came as short block) and swapped everything from...
I currently run a Type 9 Dry Pipe w/out water injection and absolutely love it. I have had a Type 4, as well as a B-pipe but can't seem to get away from this Type 9. Personally I do not think the Type 9 lacks power in the low end whatsoever, but rather matches or exceeds that of a B-pipe.
As...
To follow up my last post, here is the messages relating to the size of the carbs:
From me:
Hey I sent the pictures to your paypal account email, lvnspeed@hotmail.com
Also, I have measured the carbs with a digital caliper and it reads out to be 44mm, not 46mm.....
Let me know after you have...
Much like the above post, I had a negative experience with "Lvnspeed". Prior to my purchase I checked the neg feedback section but didn't find anything. I wish the above post was posted prior to my purchase! Had I known this I probably would not have went with the sale. Anyways, here is a quick...
Hey guys,
I have a SJ with a 701. Cyl have been ported by Tim Judge (Still @81mm) with girldled head (175 psi) and a Factory Type 9 dry pipe. I built this engine about 3 years ago, rode it for 2 seasons and the ski sat all last year. So I pull out the ski a few days ago, drain the old gas and...
I am looking for carbs for my 62T/61X build and found some descent 48mm that were used on a SXR. Would these fit on my Superjet with a R&D intake manifold?
