c'mon gordie, I know to keep the car running when jumping another car. it may be total bs but I've read that the voltage coming from a running car could be too high for the ski electronics.
have you ever killed a car battery from starting a ski? I haven't.
I'd go ahead and seal the ride plate and pump bolt inserts too. Don't forget to pull off the foam fill hole stickers and replace it with fiberglass. oh, and figure out how to seal the exhaust tube and bond line. meh, screw it - too much work and it'll still leak.
I remember a long time ago the ignore list made it so you never knew the people on your list posted unless someone quoted them. Seeing the posts there without the actual post text isn't nearly as good. Is there a way to enable the old version of the ignore list?
how much of the pipe can be bolted to the motor when installing the motor? I'm guessing only the manifold? Well, I'm hoping the manifold can be bolted on, it's pretty big.
Has anyone tryied the JSS type 4/9 manifold mod where he cuts the barb off of the manifold? Is is helpful? does the coupler blow off more easily after this mod is done?
