I got one of Daves 1st Prototype kits, Against my will I installed it. Was trying to reduce weight at the time. Now, can't imagine a ski without it. So far 2 years in and still going strong. The new struts are stronger than the ones I got. So a little more ease in lifting. I did once tow my ski...
