Don't coat the ski twice, it doesn't make it stick any more. Coating the turf can help since sometimes it can get absorbed more than you want. Use a heat gun to make it dry really fast, don't wait the stupid 20 minutes for it to get tacky. Applying glue and laying the turf down should take no...

Shoes give you that bit of padding between the turf and your bare skin.

From what it sounds like, based on how hot your engine is running, depends on what oil you want to run. So obviously at altitude I run cooler, so I can run cheaper oil that's not as temperature resistant as the expensive stuff (which it sounds like at very high temperatures, more expensive oil...

That doesn't have anything to do with it. I can understand where more expensive oils are more refined and pure, though I don't see why they would be worth so much more.

^That's what I was kinda thinking. Seems like if the more expensive oils extend engine life actually, the amount of time you lose from running cheap oils and the amount of money you gain from running cheap oils, you can just buy a new engine all together at the end of life when using cheaper...

I use SuperTech Outboard 2-stroke Oil. This is the second year running it 50:1 through both our 650sx's. It's $12/gallon at Walmart, and granted they are only 635cc engines, they still look brand new on the inside. I can see where you'd want to run fancier stuff on an expensive engine I guess.

What are the actual differences between 2-stroke oils? So one costs $50/gallon and another costs $8/gallon. Is there anything in the more expensive oil that makes it worth it? If it meets the 2-stroke specs for the engine, should be good I would think?

You pay $40 a gallon? Is there magic pixie dust in that specific oil?
