    Super Jet Cold compression

That answers that lol. Less air at higher elevation should decrease the pressure. Maybe your polaris has bumped compression so that it ran normally in Colorado?

    Super Jet Cold compression

That's normal if you're at high elevation.

    Super Jet compression dilemma

Depending on where you ride, Berthoud has 93 octane at their gas station next to the highway, but that's 5 miles or so from Boyd and Carter. I'd do the 170.

Other Where you put your rope ???

That's what I carry and have used it. Though we had one instance of it snap if the tow ski accelerated too fast, so we just doubled it up. It's a bitch to untie though.

Nice! I built one over the summer to take my ski to college, modified a harbor freight hitch carrier for $50.

    Nitrous

When I boost for very long (a couple of seconds), then my pipe starts acting up and won't seem to resonate with the boost off, any ideas? If I go to the beach and wait a few minutes, or turn my screws in and reset them then the pipe works fine until after I've boosted again. I've tried different...

Dry Carbon tubes for RRP Pole?

Civil engineering does more structures than any other discipline, and knowing how to do a composite layup doesn't mean you know how or why the material needs to be a certain thickness or how it behaves, outside of basic trial and error from working with it.

Dry Carbon tubes for RRP Pole?

From my dad (Civil engineer): Question: How thick would you need the tubes on the pole to be in carbon, with a rough guess? Answer: .050", the main issue is how you attach the tube to the base/top of the pole. If you want a more exact answer, just find online the equations to calculate the...

    650/X-2 pipe and carb

Jet skiing and working on the ski go hand in hand, gotta start somewhere! If you aren't confident have your friend come over and assist. As the above guys said, they really are super simple to work on and modify. And personally, I have probably as much fun actually wrenching on the ski as I do...

650/X-2 650sx ride plate and intake grate questions

I found the Ocean Pro plate to be annoying, it was hard to predictably slide out and would randomly catch and throw you at times, so went back to the stock plate. So exactly what Vumad said about the above.

    650/X-2 Shortened 650sx

Things still running strong, winterized it today. I really like how it handles being so short, and I don't find the nose ever riding too high. Took a little practice to do subs since I was used to being further back in the try initially, but now the ski feels totally normal (and I'm sure having...
