Not sure why this is happening. This is the second time piston went. (Rear this time) Last week was the front!? First tank of gas after rebuild. New pistons, rings, everything. It was broken in properly. Ski felt fine until we checked compression, 40 rear. Pulled head and this is what it...

    SXR SXR stock or modded

I would go with the modded ski. There's a couple thousand in extra's on it already. If you went with the stocker you're eventually going to do most of that stuff anyways.

    SXR Need help fresh rebuild

I hope that's the case, it is oiled up but... the pistons are slightly smaller than the bore so i was told it's pretty much already broke in.. If that doesn't work could a thicker head and base gasket fix the problem?

    SXR Need help fresh rebuild

The good news I have a fresh rebuilt sxr motor (braappp) the bad news it's sitting at 200 psi... How can I lower it some, don't want to run race gas!! I had the head cleaned up by ZERO- awesome job but a little higher than expected. It was sitting at 160 before rebuild. Also is it safe to...

Super Jet putting an sj on the front of a double sitdown trailer

Is the hitch lock welded to the trailer? or held on only with bolts? If it's welded only you could always add a couple thick a$$ bolts through the tong for added support!!
