    The hood seals on 3 different surface angles. It can never slided side to side or forward/back. So it only needs to be held down. The best way to hold the hood down is just a stainless ratchet strap. A 4 pack can be bought at Tractor Supply for $16 I believe.

    When your doing a superman backflip these will be pressed against your wrists to give you the leverage needed to get your feet back in the tray. Without these it's pretty much impossible to get back to the tray.

    Hey man, Yea the bracket being mounted from the underside works great! An OEM pole will fit fine as long as your bracket isn't super low. I make my own composite brackets now so if you had a problem with the wamiltons one I'd hook you up. Dan
