But you can just short the inputs with a piece of wire, insted of using pickups. Hardwire the entire system. Short circut ch1 and se if it sparks on ch 1 short circut ch2 and see if sparks on ch 2 short circut ch3 and see if sparks on ch 3 If that dosent work - its a paper weight :S

Yes 500 cca is more than enough. my first point was also, that i dont think it has anything to do with the ignition system. I would try and find a old stator cover, cut off, so only nose for the bendix is there, and bolt it on. So you can crank and start the ski "WO flywheel cover" and see what...

Have you tried a battery you know works 100% and/or have you tried with jumper cables on, to rule out, that it cannot draw enough CCA?

Well first of, the total loss ignition has nothing to do with cranking and how the bendix engage with the flywheel. I have been running TL and Lipo batteries for 8 yars now (TL for 11) havent had any issues. Running WPS featherwieght "white label batteries"

Hmm think you need to try and crank WO the stator cover. That there sounds funny, something is spinning and not engageing correctly

So a good design and produced (infused) glass hull will be better than a crappy carbon hull. But a good fully cabon hull, say most newer hulls from the top brands, will any day of the week be way better option for you for flatwater - also if you flop your tricks. the 20 lbs will make a huge...

Well, FS, 48 and 49 also have the bomb sight / booster port epoxied in, along with the flange, this goes for i guess any mikuni SBN based aftermarket carbs. If you dont want epoxy in your carbs, you need to stay oem or go billet :)
