This is my 13 year old riding a WaveBlaster 1 at Hugo State Park Jacksonville FL with our regular gang! It is his first attempt at editing a video and he wanted me to share it for pointers, tips and any advice. His GoPro was on a short handle stuck in the front of his JetPilot vest with a...
Finally got a chance to ride the 08 superjet with 03 cable and @ScottS 's custom bracket. He cut the stock turn plate and I ordered some 2024 high strength 7/8" aluminum tubing from McMaster Carr for straight bars, this pushed the steering forward several inches negating having to shorten the...
I wish @ScottS would chime in, but not sure how often he gets on here. I think that bracket is a factory yamaha piece that may have come from a waveraider that he stripped.
I'm in the same boat, I called Wamiltons and inquired about just the bracket and he wanted $125 , just for the bracket! @ScottS just made me a bracket for the 96-07 steering cable on the factory 08 handle pole. He cut the stock steering plate and tapped new holes to use straight bars. Works great!
Thanks to Eric for starting this thread. We had an awesome time today riding with the Georgia Jet Pirate crew and the Jax Crew also. Good times, even better people!
Scotts Predator does ride really nice in the surf, a Trinity Matrix is also a really stable ride, but Thrillhill's RN superjet (built by ScottS) is awful close for alot less money. someone correct me if I'm wrong rockered nose, cut 4" in rear, widened tray with footholds and widened bondrail...
I have seen the Reaper but have not ridden one. I have ridden a Krash Predator several times and it rides nice, so I can only imagine how nice the Reaper would ride. However, It is out of my price range! I'm leaning toward pulling the trigger on a RN with Tom21 hood!
I've been doing more research and reading and read on a forum post that a FSSJ is more similar ride to a gen 1 X2 than a Gen 2 X2. Anyone who has ridden them all care to comment?
WB1994 I was hoping you would chime in! I don't side mount my X2's, I sink the rear and reach up and grab the bars and go! There is a bright blue fixed steer aquabot that now belongs to a guy in my riding group out of Jacksonville FL. The ergonomics are spot on, but the hull is too short for my...
