I got my carbs close to being tuned. I had to bump up to a 140 from a 135 main jet. I still might try a 142.5 and see what that does. I'm just over a turn out. I had a couple issues my first day riding at Daytona. The nozzle I had was an old carbon wrapped XScream nozzle. It was broke at the...
Lake test went ok. No real issues. I think my pole could be a inch or 2 shorter. About 5 min into the first ride it bogged down. Brian told me to pull the screws on the billet filler on the tank and put a dab of right stuff in the hole and screw the screws back in. I guess some got pushed...
I finished up all the tidily bits today. I hate how thrust barbs are at different angles. It would be so much easier it they were straight.
Had to replace the throttle cable. It felt smooth but when I hooked it up to my carbs it didn't want to return. I busted her off for the first time this...

The tray is finished. I think I might wait to turf my adjustable holds till after Daytona.
This is the quickest turf job I've ever done. A couple things I would have done differently if I had the time but Daytona is just around the corner and I don't have time for one of my week long turf jobs...
Couldn't source any molded diamond. I ended up using it. The other piece was thicker on one end so I made due. One more piece left!

Rails are done minus some bolts and conical washers for the death fins. My chinpad stands out like a sore thumb. I need to get a matching wrap for it.
Hydroturf screwed me on the turf. What they sent me looks like it's been sanded down almost flat. I've been scrambling most of the morning...
My dvx had a open msd total loss setup on an XScream plate with msd coils. I've had it in salt many times. I don't use bullet or weather pack connectors only Deutsch connectors. Deutsch connectors are the only ones advertised to be waterproof instead of water resistant. I keep dielectric grease...
