Nothing to be nervous about. Keep your weight forward and stay in the throttle. The thing that affected me the most was going too slow. As soon as I gave it a little more throttle and cruised around a little faster, it became much easier to ride.

So, I bought this WDK rip last weekend and finally got to take it out today. HOLY CRAP! Mad respect to all of you. It has been over a year since I have been on any stand up but I have always been able to jump on a SJ and ride out (probably just like every other person on the planet)... Dude...

When I was looking, I was looking on Amazon. Under the specs for each helmet there was shipping weight and Item weight. 2 lightest I found were the Fox Proframe and TLD Stage. I looked up “MTB MIPS helmets” the mips helemts seemed to have the lightest weights and best safety ratings too.

The TLD Stage helmet is MTB Helmet and weighs 685 grams. Certainly on the expensive side at $295 USD. I was going to use my MX helmet but after searching and reading recommendations on this forum, decided against it. Lol. I am new to all of this and plan on only riding fresh water, so hopefully...

I just bought a Troy Lee Stage. Fit is awesome and very comfortable. Weighs 1 pound. Let you know after the weekend how it is in the water.

McDog, I am an electrical contractor. I mainly deal with AC circuits but has a decent grasp on DC theory. I am clueless on TL (just saying). However, in your original post it seems like you may be paralleling the ground back to the battery. Weird, weird things happen when you parallel a ground...

272 apartments(2-8 story residential buildings), 2 parking garages, and a clubhouse with a pool. Our company does all of the electric for the project. Just about complete with the first phase of the project and expect to finish the project 100% by the end of January.

Picked up a WDK rip running ski today from @Bonecrusher630 and everything was just as listed, described and agreed to. Actually, he threw in some extra jets for the carbs and some other stuff. Good man and would not hesitate to deal with him again.
