Would there be a problem if I use a 1/2" spacer?

If you mean the spacer that cf sells, its too thin. Id need about 3 or 4 of those...

Hello all. I just started building a new edge fr. Ive run into a few problems here and there, and would like your opinions. 1) Drive shaft is about 1/2" too long. Everything ive read is that stock driveshaft fits correctly, or maybe needs a 3mm spacer at most, but this is not my case...

That one's mine. Bought it I think 2 years ago. Has held great to this day. Only problem is that the rubber is much harder than stock, so perfect alignment is critical, or youll get vibration at the slightest misalignment.

I can't believe I didn't see this thread before. I live here in PR. We are a VERY small group of standup riders (3 SXR's, 3 X2's, and my Superjet). We have ridden many areas of the island, and we have never seen other standups. As far as we know, were the only ones. We ride every weekend...

I do it a lot. I own a boat, and when I take it out I tow my ski behind it so I can ride it wherever I go. I installed a valve on the water line that goes to the exhaust just in case, and close it when towing. Ive never had a problem.

I got to ride it yesterday and today, it passed very close to us here in PR. Tuesday was BIG, but very windy and rainy.

I did check carb filters and othere internals, and looked good. Does it really look like a seizure?

Look at what I just found! What the fcuk could've caused this???? Its just the front piston, rear one looks good.

BTW, compression is also good, 180/180.

BTW, when it ran bad, it almost felt like it was running rich, but it wasnt. Maybe that helps.

There have been no changes to the ski, it was running perfect until my last time out. Put new plugs in it, and problem solved for about 30 mins. This happened again 2 times today, out of nowhere it started running like :-):-):-):-), but put new plugs in, and ran perfect. I thought it was...

I also tried this. I left the ski last night nose down, with pb blaster down the driveshaft tube... What I didnt try was counter rotating the shafts. Dont know how to hold the driveshaft while its still in the boat.

All for a stupid pump shoe!

No more ideas? Im like 10 mins from cutting it...

Could it be the fact that I only ride saltwater? Maybe the salt corroded the splines

Maybe it wasnt greased properly at the factory?? I really have no explanation
