I did unbolt the midshaft assembly and pulled it, didnt work. Im so close to cutting the driveshaft and buying a new one, along with a new midshaft assembly...

I pulled the motor, and tried this. Still wont come out. Im out of ideas...

Still can't get it off. I removed the ebox and coupler cover, and found out that the midshaft has moved rearward! WTF! I noticed it when I saw the couplers were halfway separated

Btw, it has never been removed...

Everything is unhooked and unbolted, and the dowel pins are removed. When i pull on the pump, the midshaft also moves.

So I broke my OEM plastic pump shoe. Im trying to get it out, but the driveshaft is stuck in there, wont come out. Any ideas on how to remove it?? Its the only thing holding the pump.

Thanks guys. Just took out the airbox and it seems just trimming the plastic part will do. What about the the FA's metal base? Looks like a very close fit.

Is there any way to fit the stock flame arrestor with the ADA head? I just noticed the stock airbox will hit the head. I don't want aftermarket flame arrestors, since ive read here that they take too much water.

Rincon is really nice, i went to college near Rincon, and I used to surf there almost every morning and afternoon. To bad I cant get the ski there, too much surf crowd. Anyway, almost all good surf beaches on that side of the island have reef bottom, not sand. It wouldnt be any fun to nose...

Yes, I got the 35cc domes, 185 psi comp. According to ADA, they are designed for 91 oct gas. According to PR law, you can't use boats with more than 30hp on lakes. I know, its stupid. Anyway, its not like there are many lakes here...

BTW, can I still go WOT for extended times (10-15 sec) with this head?

Im in Puerto Rico. Its kinda hot all year round. I only ride surf (lake riding is illegal here).

I am going to order Turf, but can't decide on the color. Seems that almost everyone with stock blue paint has black turf. So, if you have some colored turf on your SJ, post a pic or a link or anything that would help!
