JK is the reason we would drive out there every year. Seeing him ride then hanging out with him gave us a whole years worth of motivation... Also that roll that Craig Fuzzy Boyd does at 2:39 still may be the biggest Ive seen. Pretty gnarly landing too.
All I know is that JK got married and is living in the Vegas area. Doing OK from what Ive heard.
I hear ya Surfjunkie. But it was well before everybody got obsessed by them and would spend any amount of cash to be able to do them on the flat.
Please excuse the quality, the timestamps and basic lack of time put in, but I just dug up this footage from the Old Mex Ragers Rick Roy used to put on. Sweet early Joe Kenney shredding. hard to believe this is 10 years old already. Enjoy for what it is. Thanks!

Thanks everybody. Stoked on the comments. @Infamy, Im a big fan of the risers. Better on my jacked up back but harder to remount in the deep. @Dustin, This is a new motor. My wife now has my old one in hers after she blew hers up in Pismo. Funny how a plan comes together...
Thanks for posting that! I was so stoked for Derek. He has been a pro level rider/racer since I met him in '97 and he just got bit by the freeride bug. The kid is motivated and we all feed off of it! He was riding the red and blue 827. Truzski was carving it up on the orange and blue 1000...
Making the drive from Chicago again with wife and Prances with Superjet is flying in. This will be my 10th year of freerides on the west coast in October. Stoked as usual.
