After waiting for six months, my Matrix was finally done. I picked it up the day before Thanksgiving from Bobby's (his smiling face below) in Malabar. The ski s now complete, but I'll drag you through the build before I show the finished product.
Yeah Boyer, I think the real trick to fixing this problem was the 1/2 gallon of red loctite I put on the impleller shaft before tighting the prop. If I ever change props, I'll probably have to put on a new pump. That prop isn't ever coming off now! A little less timing advance might help the...
I had the same problem last weekend. After 3 hours changing out every part possible, I found that the coupler between the carbs had come loose. Only the butterfly on the carb that the throttle cable was connected was opening. The factory flame arrestor kept me from seeing it. Boy did I feel stupid!
