Is it just me, I spent a day adjusting the three screws in every combo I could think of, I couldn't feel a difference. Without a dyno or a tach maybe a seat-of-the-pants tuning is not practical?

Get a 3/8" stainless bolt long enought to stick through the bottom of steering bearing setup by at least 1/2". Then install a 3/8" nyloc nut on the bottom as a jam nut against the XMW aluminum base nut and tighten. Also use red Loctite. It was the only way I got mine from coming loose.

I hate to say it, elongate the holes. This seems to be a part of building aftermarket ski's. At least you realize it. I think most people just assemble them out of align.
