Other xmetal pole vs rrp pole

Another thing to consider when buying a pole, if you break it, will the manufacture stand behind it. In my experience, X-metal has been the best at standing behind their products in the industry. Poles take a beating, they do break, X-metal has replaced a couple for friends of mine with no...

    Custom/Hybrid Trinity Composites

There is two sides to every story, and I know no one here wants to hear either. I have three friends besides me that bought Martix's (Boyer, Bill Adkins and Mark Gomez). You can ask any of us, Bobby was straight forward, honest and business like. The only problem I had and I expect it from any...

Surfriding The ultimate all around surf hull......and why...

Yes, the wide rails made the SJ really stable and still corners very well, but would not handle a bouy course as well as the stock railed SJ. This is an excellent mod for the surf, especially in the white water. It is a mod that makes the ski so much easier to ride. It may not carve a bouy quite...

Custom/Hybrid TBM vs OTHER Kawi LW Charging Flywheels?

I would by the TBM because they stand behind their product. I had a problem with one of their flywheels, they replaced it without question.

Super Jet Blew Pump Bearing in 1 Hour - help

It's probably not a bent drive shaft, he probably did the same stupid move that I did when I first installed my Solas pump. When I removed the drive shaft out of the stock pump, the bearings were stuck on the shaft. Instead of removing the front bearing from the shaft and driving it into the new...

Super Jet New motor running on one cylinder! Need help?

I have seen a needle-in-seat stick once and it made the motor act just as you describe, but more than likely your linkage between the carbs have slipped. Pull your flame arrestors and look down the carbs and make sure both butterflies are moving together. Do it while the motor is running as the...

Super Jet I give up... Solas pump help PLEASE

The pump is machined different than a stock one. The distance from where the front bearing seats and the face of the Solas pump (if I remember correctly) is about 5mm less, this moves the shaft forward. I had the this issue with my Solas, but I was lucky , I had a fairly large gap at my...

Freestyle Xscream 865 Reminder to change wrist-pin bearings every 50 hours!!

I put the MSD Enhancer back in and the motor has been rock solid reliable since. I lost a little bottom end compared to the Epic, but I am glad to give it up for reliability. If you want to keep the Epic, try replacing your rectifier, it's the only electrical componet that I didn't replace twice.

Freestyle Xscream 865 Reminder to change wrist-pin bearings every 50 hours!!

Boyer, my failures were caused by the Epic CDI backfiring, not fatigue. I had no wristpin bearing failures before or after I tossed the Epic. It's a shame that the Epic works great on some ski's and not the others. The concept is great. Warning: If the Epic causes your ski to kick back or...
