I had an Envy, SXR based, lighter, shorter. It was an all around good ski, nowhere near as good as the predator in surf, but still fun. Accepted yami and kawi engines with kawi pump
Dolphins are never happy when I buzz around them, I would assume sharks are similar... With all the shark sightings and sharks caught off local beaches lately I have not had any issues and have no worries
It's worth the wait, love mine and have never had anyone get off the ski and not love it. Had some people
Not like the way I have MY ski setup, but my pole being too long or my setup not hitting soon enough is not a critique on the hull
Check hulls for sale section, local dude to me selling a new, never finished predator with pole for $6500, cost you about $400 to ship it and your ahead of the game
Your on the right side of the country, I'm sure if you play your cards right you could work out a demo on both skis and make your mind up yourself. I love my predator, but have not been on an edge, so my opinion is quite biased
That all depends on the pitch of the impeller, might have to pitch down a hair and then pitch it up if and when he gets a big engine
Oem blaster 2's and the xl700's had 155 pumps in them, if pitched correctly should still be better than a 144
In my mind none, I will take a programmable cdi that still allows a charging system over total loss all day long, but then again I ride surf and run bilge pumps constantly so total loss scares me a little.
I believe the theory is if you fill the headpipe from the top air does not like to travel down. If you fill from the bottom the air gets pushed out the top hose, no air trapped.
That being said it seems to work both ways
I honestly think if he got movement and then it stopped,
It's trashed and galled up.
I tried everything with the one I was dealing with and ended up snapping the shaft, then cutting off the impeller
Fast elements sells a super strong tool, I managed to break the shaft and tool is still usable, although a little bit distorted. The tool you get with the impellers is super soft and easy to destroy
I went through this last year, ended up having to cut the impeller I half and clamshell it off the shaft, shaft was also junk, but I salvaged the Solas stator
