I ran a Solas 13/18 in my 650 powered 550 and it was definitely way under propped. I ended up with a straight 17.5 with ocean pro nozzles. If you have anything done to that 650, definitely prop up. If you have a 28mm carb and stock exhaust on it though, it's very likely that the pump just...
You want a used one?
My computer isn't in the mood for more pictures right now, but the front has a hole for tie down and a U-shaped zipper for access to the gas cap.
You can't check continuity with ohms when power is involved. Check voltage drop.
But yeah, dropping voltage somewhere causes heat and destroys electronics. Such as a short in your starter as mentioned.
Don't forget the carbide bits and all that little stuff that ends up costing more than the motor. I built a Kawi 650 once from the ground up like this and it definitely ripped harder than most 701's and 750's. I learned porting is not for me though and am glad to pay someone these days...
Promo Code TRT25
Always a good time to buy some grease, spark plugs, vacuum plugs, different spray fluids, or even stuff for your vehicle if you take care of those too.
Here's the thread with some more codes for other dollar amounts...
How's the water temps up there? I thought it was supposed to snow the other day.
That orange is definitely a good color for a slutty girl. I knew a girl named LaCole that looked just like that in high school with her fake tanner stuff.
Bring them things to Carolina so you can show them off...
That's what I was figuring. I'm not a foot hold rider either, but until I get to putting in a strap, that is what I've been using. They actually aren't bad at all with both feet in them, it's just surf stance that I want that rear foot further back.
Chopping the plate for some choppy surf...
That was the one. It'll be at the Carolina freeride too. We'll make sure to have enough waves to make it worth a trying out this time around. We had 6 footers on Monday and calling for 4-7 foot this Sunday.
You'll know if it spins loose when you let off the gas. It's either good or you'll know after a couple minutes of riding.
The kawis definitely can loosen because they are driven by the splines instead of the threads. They tighten from the resistance of the grease and seals in the pump where...
I bought one off a member on here and have the same issue but mine was advertised as new SBT. I was thinking bout using a set screw or two. I'd be scared silicone wouldn't be enough as loose as it is
There is a ride in Pismo the weekend after finals. I'm roughly planning my trip now and might be hitting the Grand Canyon and New Mexico after because I have family that direction.
Isn't R+M/2 the same way pump gas is rated? It says that right on some pumps. Also if you do the math, it equals 101. Unless I am missing something it sounds better than 100 octane
It's finally all together and I got out there on Sunday. It's really hard to compare it to the FX-1 because I never did a single mod to it. It's purely stock except for steering, ride plate, intake grate, and prop. This ski has a JetManiac Big Bore with dual 38's and then pretty much all...
I've got some from some Kawi ss skis that I had. Each one has a pair of them. Can't remember what they hold but I open up and put in proper size straps for the application and then close them back up so you don't have to worry bout them coming loose behind the tank whole you're putting it in.
I liked -2 or -3 on my FX. I broke it and had a -4 around so now I use that and it's not terrible but I definitely don't like it near as much. This includes steering being -2. I'm 6' and riding in the ocean.
I've had the reeds seal and make the gauge show leakdown a tiny bit if you don't spin the motor back and forth a hair to equalize the pressure on both sides of the reeds. 1 PSI isn't bad and should be fine though, but iit would bother me if it wasn't as good before the work. Spray some soapy...
