Got the turf done and front foothold installed and some cables routed. Turf isn't perfect but it was the best I could do. Rain all day tomorrow and I'm still missing the adapter ring for the Solas pump so no go for the water. My buddy is supposed to have one laying around but hasn't been able...
Yup on the carbon fiber tubes. He gave me those with copper cooling lines and marine brass inserts for hardware. Trim tube is stainless from Thrust.
The footholds may be too far forward. They were an afterthought as I like to run a strap anyways, but they are about 5" further forward than I...
It definitely didn't come out as well as it did in my head. I've got it positioned to pull on the corners on the front. I didn't want to raise the bolts any higher and be pulling the wrong direction on them. I didn't want them any lower for the reason yall stated. And I was scared that under...
I've gotten a bunch of people asking about this hull and I figure it is about time to get some pictures and info up about this thing. It's one of Tom21's first skis that he has put out in an attempt to fine tune his molds and layups and get this thing perfect. I got mine with motor mounts...
My buddy's has airlocked a few times in his blaster when always on. I've never had the problem in multiple stand ups. I have used brackets to hold mine or just stick them to the bottom. Not sure how his is held down
I like the desktop version on my phone but it does cut down on some stuff just due to the lack of pixels. I turn the phone sideways real quick if I want to see somebody's location or want a button to show up at the top of the page
No worries with the motor eating plastic reeds. I'm surprised to wouldn't notice that reed being broken. You should notice when you put it back in. White lubricant sounds like water ingestion, but if you mean lack of black junk on top of the piston then that rear cylinder does look rich and I...
That's exactly the info I was hoping for but I won't hold you to it if they are spaced different. I can make do with the x-lace if I get stuck with it but I'd like to free up a little tray space if I can.
I wouldn't read your build thread about putting holds in a square and don't think it's necessary to make a thread for it either. I am turfing a ski with holds and enjoy pictures for ideas on heel stops and such. Keep em coming
Looked like a bit of a rollercoaster ride according to Facebook but all is going well now?
Pulling a backy after knocking out a brain tumor will be child's play :) Keep strong and heal up soon.
I've got some x-lace straps on one ski and am currently doing turf on my new ski. I want to switch to supremos or whatever it was that I had before but don't have them on hand. Anybody know if I set up my 4 bolts with the UFO nut like Thrust sells that it will be the same to swap out the...
I've got dual rule 800's and I think that is overkill. They both use the 3/4" outlet which I like too.
Make sure that the only reason you need them is because you like to do a lot of massive subs and not because you are masking problems.
Here in the salt, our SN killed the OEM's that came with it in a year, the first version of RHaas' that weren't billet in 2 years. My buddy's brand new 2010 SJ in one year. I've got some Cold Fusions and the new RHaas right now that hopefully will do some good. All stock motors by the way.
The hull that I test fit it in was a WDK F1 which is designed to fit a 155. It required no work other than the right driveshaft but I never did it. I sold the pump and got a prop for the 144. I figured it'd be simple and easy that way since I have way too many projects going on.
As for fitting...
