I guess this was a powder that they put on top of the concrete. I was under the impression it would cure with the concrete. Turns out it must not have. They are supposed to come back later today to remove the forms and stuff so I'll freak out on them then. Just not in the mood for this BS right now.
I'm at work now so I don't have any more pictures. Basically the color didn't stick at all. It's a brand new pour not an overlay. The concrete itself looks nice but the color they used just washes right off with the garden hose...
Just got ten yards of stamped concrete done....this is how it looks 24 hours later. So effing pissed right now. It was my step dad and his work buddies who did it. They gave me a huge discount so I shouldn't complain but this is Disappointing.
I didn't mean that the paint is bad I just meant I probably won't stick unless you rough it up more. At least on the bottom deck becuase of the insane amount of water pressure it faces.
I used the appliance epoxy on my fx1. I also sanded with 320. The paint goes on like a dream for being a rattle can. However, on the very first ride the paint started peeling off in sheets. I was told it was because I should have sanded with something more like 80 or 100 grit. Not sure if that's...
Wow man, I can't imagine hiding that for so long! I'm sorry you have to go through that. I'm not sure if it will make you feel better or not but when my parents got divorced they thought I would take the news badly. I was actually relieved because I could see how miserable they made each other...
