take a friend that can ride. Dont try learning on that guys ski. He'll be pissed. Since they are both so similar i would probably just buy the one that's close assuming it runs good.
what are their prices? to me the second one looks cleaner so that's the one I would probably take. I think for your first ski a cleaner ski would be more desireable because I would assume its been better cared for and will be more reliable. Just my two cents. Both skis look nice. I dont think...
When I did the foam in my fx1 I doubt the pink foam I used weighed more than a pound. It never takes on water like the two part does. I would imagine if you used ping pong balls you would have to reinforce the tray since it won't have a lot of support under it. I don't know. maybe they would...
IMHO You should widen the tray since its way too narrow and use the pink foam from Home Depot instead of the ping pong balls. Then add drain plugs and never worry about being waterlogged again. Just my two cents.
