No, the ski looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Completely stock graphics. White ski, with purple pads and green with purple graphics. I do not have any pics, but it is totally stock looking.
Friend of mine had his '94 Kawasaki 750 SX stolen last night. It was sitting on a shore station in Grand Haven, MI. Just off the grand river on potawattamee bayou. This ski is all stock, and super clean. All original decals etc..... Figured I would spread the word in case someone sees this...
If your riding the ski, what happens if you hop the ski a little while holding it wide open? Will the engine rev up when you hop the pump out a little? I had a similar issue with mine, but when you got it to rev up it ripped until you slowed down again. Ended up just being jetting and pop off.

I would just shave .020-.030 off the domes. I did it with good results. Should bump the compression a good bit, but can still run 93. Randy from Watcon always told me not to run much more than 175 compression on the polaris motor.
Gil, you mentioned getting the right domes for my setup. Where would I find "in-set" domes for this?? I called ADA, they had not heard of these pistons. They sold me domes for Kawi flat tops, 24cc, they said it would make 200# compression. It only makes 125#s due to the piston not making it...
Yeah, We are figuring out that the R&D pistons are roughly 4mm lower than the Kawi style flat tops. The distance from the wrist pin center to the top of piston is shorter on the R&D dominator style piston. Anyone know why they did this? We are thinking of decking 3-4mm off the top of the...
So I have a 61x cyl with R&D sleeves and custom R&D 85.5mm weiscos. We ordered an ADA head with their flat top domes. Bolt it up and there is only 125# compression, the squish is way too large. Are these pistons lower than kawi flat top pisons?? Not sure what to do here. We are thinking of...
Nice leg work there Rob! So August 17th-19th it is. We will touch base with the campground owners once again to be sure that there will be no complications. Get your reservations set!
Everyone around here uses threebond 1211. We used to use Yamabond. On Seadoo rotary engines, the case sealant fails around the oil filled rotary valve chamber. Then the motors slowly fill with oil when sitting. We were told that 1211 would resist "breakdown" caused by some of the additives...
I would 2nd that Chad. Way better odds of getting some surf later in the fall. We may have to do some leg work with the township up there to make sure this is going to happen again. Bruins had been in touch with the campground owners and the township to keep this even going. We need to make...
Going for final test ride tomorrow before we load up for Daytona. Going to be 44 degrees tomorrow! Nice and warm if anyone else wants to go, we will be at the pits around noon to 1pm!
We are hauling a 23 ft enclosed behind my friend Kevin's F350. We have some room left in the trailer and can haul a couple more skis if someone wants to fly down. You would need to drop your ski off in Grand Haven, Holland Michigan area by Tuesday the 10th. $200 per ski to help cover the cost...
Every primer I have bought goes bad within one season. The valves inside are not doing the job. They either don't pump, or pump in and and out in the same direction. I have been getting them from Marshalls and SBT. Not sure if VP110 is destroying the rubber inside or what. Anyone know where...
Got a chance to ride the ski today for the first time. The minute I got if off the trailer I could tell it was much lighter than before. The back end was much more buoyant now that the wet foam is gone. Engine runs hard, much more snap than the Polaris engine produced. So far very happy...
Octanes came from the factory with 40mm cdk II Keihin carbs. Those carbs really seemed to limit the motor. I went to a pair of the blue sudco 42s and got a nice improvement in power. From there, went to a pair and dual 46 SBN's and the power gain was HUGE. From there, I never bothered...
