Last time I shipped one, I made a plywood base and strapped the motor to it, then double boxed it and filled it with filler (paper and grocery bags). Made it to the destination well, but cost a lot more than a 3 dollar tote. I received one in a plastic tote once and the tote was all busted up...
I used the threaded inserts (sold as kits on here, from blowsion, or from mcmaster) and epoxied them in place.
Used a small nut-driver on a drill to cut perfect circles in the turf. Few crappy pics in my sig.
That is a tough one to get rid of. You may actually have to try all of those programs Madmat listed. I've had the best luck with Malware Bytes for that particular type of infection.
Bases are compleeeete. Would have a few uprights too if the saw guy hadn't cut them too short. Now it will be next week :smashfreakB:. This is why I don't take money up front. I'll keep you posted.
Cuttin her right down to the line boys. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get them out before daytona. Machining should be complete early next week and then I have to bead blast them and get the anodized ones off to the anodizers. Cross your fingers!
That thing sounds awesome! There's a vid on there from fuel tv where he's takin people around. Wonder how much HP that thing is putting out - I think the STI's are over 300 stock.
My dad trains all winter on rollers. Has a tv setup with helmet cam vids of the trails he rides in the summer. He races recumbants though, so not so far to fall if you come off the rollers.
Nice work guys! Yeah we northerners gotta have the heated grips. We've got enough ice here I don't dare try it. Always paranoid about invisible ice edges to hit.
