RRP pole and backdated cable. Expensive fix though. If you put on a 96-07 cable on the stock pole you have to hack it up to get it to mount on pole side from what I hear. Or sell me the 19 :p…

Complete rebuild and new carb is quite a few variables but if you have good compression (you said you did, no massive air leaks,and spark I’d suggest focusing on the carburetor.

“new carburetor”. Was it starting okay before ? Was the new carb properly jetted and correct pop off pressure used?
