    Vintage ADA Head Dome Identification

Good call I have 2 Ada heads, one is from the 785cc superstock era, bought a new one last year and was kind of surprised to see they have improved the design, larger outer o ring groove for better sealing.

That pretty much indicates you don't need those custom domes and could benefit from some standard off the shelf domes. However there is no substitute for proper measurements to confirm this. For that you could consult an engine builder.

Stock sj transfer ports are easy to spot usually a horrible mismatch between sleeve and cylinder. Thanks Yamaha! Lol

    Vintage ADA Head Dome Identification

Is your cylinder ported? Some builders machine the cylinder to lower the transfers. If so you will have the piston poke out the top and you must use custom domes. You should check squish band with current set up to find out what's going on. I would guess you have excess squish Clearence due...

    Converting race ski to freestyle

Not necessarily. You said there was a 3rd fitting on manifold? That may have been the feed line for the 'headpipe' part of the chamber. Then you could have dual outlets from head. (I am not sure how Riva intended to route water in this pipe)

    Converting race ski to freestyle

Dual outlets from head and one from pipe That's why it has 3 pissers

    Converting race ski to freestyle

You got a awesome deal He was gonna part it out then you stepped in at the perfect time If you put a dry pipe with ecwi on it it would rip even harder. Just more hassle setting all that up. But it sounds like it is working well as is so I would probably leave it alone and ride

Maybe a good welder can fix that grate? Ecwi might be something to think about for that pipe.

    Converting race ski to freestyle

Btw that's not a dry pipe it's a Riva spec 2. You can see the water jacketed "head pipe" section of the chamber. And imo don't under prop it, you don't want to be spinning...spinning ain't winning

    Converting race ski to freestyle

Hang on to that old sj hull id leave the tray as is. You may want to have a fast ski/cruiser once you step up to a full a/m freestyle hull. The hood/nose can be found cheap look for a used one

    Converting race ski to freestyle

Hard to go wrong with jet dynamics or worx grates. If I were you I'd get a lowered light weight hood and nose and low bracket. Nice upgrade for the round nose. And put blowsion/etc sealed bearing steering on it if it's not there already.

    Modding pfp chamber

This is why I like the r&d pipe, lots of injection points to use for your application. Being Somewhat of a fabricator myself, and now that tnt is scaling back handmade pipes, a custom chamber is something I'd like to try building eventually. Even out of just mild steel for starters.

    Reserve with big carbs

Cut the lines equally and Zip tie them together. they kind of drift around and follow the fuel as it sloshes around. And yes don't run it down to less than a gallon
