That's why they are doing it and you are not. They must see a large profit margin to be investing so much in a rtr skis that being said I would not gamble on it being as advertised. I prefer to build a ski myself the hunt for the deals meeting various people who are knowledgeable in their own...
I hope that you get a great ski that preforms as advertised I'm not being negative towards krash and their products I'm just not the guy willing to gamble on a completely new design once proven reliable I would pick one up. Cheap upfront if expensive to fix and maintain might end up being a 18k...
Good luck with your ski I'm interested to see how there components, drive train, and pump hold up I stated above i can build a ski nicer for that price which I have done and with reputable parts which are proven by years of use. I do commend krash for there efforts to bring rtr skis to market...
I broke my stinger off welded a bung in it and added a brass fitting with the 5 gal limited slip tank cut the tank and have it welded maybe brapworks will hook you up with the welding
I've ran total loss and a charging system stock electronics with a enhancer it will run great with either obviously you will not get the same power out of the stock system but the engine has plenty of power either way
I'll sell you a brand new am ski for 12k with a 865 lay down pipe tl ect all parts new or slightly used but in new condition never been in water it can be done I've built much nicer skis for less
