    the light problem is easily curable. it is the dash illumination / tail circuit. try replacing the switch in the dash, all light circuits run through it.

    no . remove the whole wire assembly from the gromet and replace with one large gauge wire and attach directly to the negative post inside the ebox and the other side to the negative post at the battery. i actuality the idea you mentioned will work and help the cause. the larger one will simply...

    i am an advocate for excess ground circuits. i replaced the heat sensor wires with an 8ga ground lead to the inside of the ebox as reassurance that all of my ignition had adequate ground. overkill? maybe...but a weak ground circuit can cause your symptoms of failure.
