That's the baddest riding I've seen in a while! The problem I see is that only a few things will resist that strong current; HUGE ROCKS! Malone is an awesome rider, but I hope he doesn't ride here again. Now I'm going to watch it some more.

I had a 2005 SJ. Great boat and big step up from 650SX (had one of those too). Factory b pipe, bump the compression and stainless prop that fits your riding style and you're set for a while.

Thanks for watching and commenting. It's great to have a site like the X to share the passion. It's interesting to note that my hull, motor, trim, waterbox, wetsuit, and lifevest all also have X connections as well as all the great X ers I've met and ridden with. Going big in 2013; can't wait!

Read the rules carefully. It does not say "no backflips". This will just force riders to use more talent, practice, effort, and IMAGINATION, but you'll still have to go big to win.

Can't see anyone outshining a backflip with a hood trick. This is a tiny hull/big HP /huge air machine. I'm thinking double flatwater barrel roll, inverted flat spin 360, double ghost flip, throw the ski 15 feet in the air and try to catch it. 230 lbs and 900cc means this thing is going to be...

I noticed there's no super flip bars. I would think that to win you better do the top trick.(?) Looking forward to seeing what these short hulls can do. 10 years of backflips and now I'm ready to be amazed!

Kawasaki SXR. You'll probably get spanked by guys riding Hydrospace skis but you'll have an extra 5K in your pocket and you'll still have a lot of fun.
